How to Prepare an Industrial RFQ
The essential commercial and technical information for a precise industrial sourcing request.
Identify each line item
List the manufacturer, exact part number, description, and quantity on separate lines. Include the equipment context when the reference is incomplete.
State the commercial requirement
Include delivery country and ZIP/postal code, required condition, target date, and whether alternatives may be considered.
Attach available evidence
Send nameplate photographs, drawings, existing data sheets, and BOM files. Mark any information that is uncertain rather than guessing.
Define technical restrictions
Specify voltage, pressure, temperature, media, material, certification, mounting, or dimensional restrictions that affect acceptance.
