Use this checklist before sending an RFQ to improve part identification, reduce delays and support accurate quotation review.

Brand or manufacturer

Include the exact brand, manufacturer or OEM reference shown on the label, nameplate or datasheet.

Part number / SKU / MPN

Send the part number, SKU, MPN, model, serial reference, drawing code or old product reference.

Quantity and urgency

Specify required quantity, urgency level and whether alternative references are acceptable.

Delivery country

Include destination country so availability, shipping and documentation can be reviewed correctly.

Recommended supporting files

  • Product photos or machine nameplate images
  • Technical drawings or dimensions
  • Datasheets, manuals or replacement references
  • Old invoice, quotation or supplier code if available
