Viper Maxi MK 2 Wire Rope Lubricator Kit Complete Wire Rope Lubrication Kit for 50 mm to 165 mm Wire Ropes The Viper Maxi MK 2 Wire Rope Lubricator Kit provides fast, safe, and effective lubrication for wire ropes ranging from 50 mm to 165 mm (2"–6-1/2") in diameter. Capable of lubricating wire ropes at speeds up to 2,000 meters (6,670 feet) per hour, it replaces slow and labor-intensive manual lubrication methods by forcing lubricant under high pressure deep into the wire rope core for more complete coverage and longer service life. Designed for large-diameter wire ropes used in demanding industrial applications, the Viper Maxi MKII features a high-strength cast aluminum collar with twin lubricant inlets for maximum lubricant coverage, stainless steel hardware, and a high-volume grease pump. The complete kit is supplied in a heavy-duty aluminum storage case. Seals and scraper plates are selected separately to match the wire rope diameter. Kit Includes Viper Maxi MK 2 lubricator collar High-volume grease pump (4.5 kg/min) Air regulator with moisture trap Pressure gauge and isolation valve 10 m (33 ft.) high-pressure lubricant hose with couplings Clear lubricant drain hose 1,200 kg rated retaining ratchet straps and bow shackles Heavy-duty welded aluminum storage case Optional: High-flow 13 kg/min grease pump for ropes larger than 85 mm (3.35"). Note: Seals and scraper plates are sold separately and selected based on the wire rope diameter. Recommended Lubricants The Viper Maxi MK 2 is designed for use with approved wire rope lubricants, including: Monolec® Wirelife Penetrating Lubricant (2001) Almasol® Wirelife Rope Coating Lubricant (2002) Wirelife Coating Grease (451, 452, 453) Earthwise™ EAL Wire Rope Grease (3353) Lubricants are sold separately.
